Put everything else on hold! No matter what geeky thing you’ve been up to today is a Marvel-ous day!!
Almost all of my free time today has been spent waiting for and then watching the first official trailer for Marvel’s Captain Marvel! The first MCU film since Avengers: Infinity War, this is the one that will give us some clues as to how our heroes are going to fight back against Thanos! Check out the awesome trailer below!
Oooh boy there is so much in there to like, the comic accurate costume, de-aged and bi-ocular Nick Fury, the Mohawk but above all else, Phil Coulson’s 90s quiff! Seriously, that man’s hair game was on point a few decades ago! The trailer is sparse on specific details but it would appear that the Captain comes to Earth (or rather falls) in search of the villainous Skrulls, one of which I hope she finds otherwise than old woman she punches is going to be pissed!
I can’t wait to see the finished product and honestly feel that Brie Larson is going to knock it out of the park! Check out the new poster too!!
Let’s talk about something else so we don’t explode with excitement! Had a little bit more of a read of X-Wing: Wedge’s Gamble, no action this time but political manoeuvrings as the next stage in bringing down the existing remnants of the Empire. These bits aren’t as exciting as the Rogue Squadron dog fights but everyone needs a breather at some point!
I have been weak again and purchased myself a couple of presents. The Entertainer currently has a sale on their Funko Pop Vinyl’s. I manages to pick up a Star Wars Flame Trooper and Snow Trooper for £12 and there were many more there that I’ll probably return to soon, even a couple of exclusives like a flocked Chewbacca from Solo!
I promise I’ll have more to say tomorrow but for now I’m off to re-watch the Captain Marvel trailer a few hundred times more!
