Another week, another Spiderman: Homecoming gift! Over the last few weeks we have had a few bits of new coming from the Spiderman set. From almost daily casting announcements to the occasional bit of concept art, we have no shortage of goodies to get our teeth into.

Not long ago we got our first look at what the main villain of the film (most likely being played by Michael Keaton) the Vulture.

The Spiderman suit appears to be the same one we have seen in Captain America: Civil War, but the Vulture suit is a new take on the classic comic villain. Gone is the bright green feathered body and wings, replaced with a more combat ready/mechanised outfit.

The design of the wings looks to be a mix of Falcon’s wing suit and a Helicarrier. Instead of wings that look like a bird’s we will be getting a suit allowing the wearer to glide with the assistance of rotar blades.

I like the direction they are going with this suit. It’s grounded more in reality and doesn’t look as ridiculous as an old man in a bird suit. It’s also good to see that even though it’s similar to Falcon’s suit, there are marked differences.

We have also in the last couple of days had our first look at the first official movie poster!

I really like this poster. It has the same aesthetic as the original 1970s TV show. The grainy-like appearance and the simplicity of the web slinger just hanging upside down is both fun and nostalgic. This is also our best look at Spidey’s webcasters made by Tony Stark.

There’s not much more to say about this poster to be honest. Hopefully we will be getting some more photos soon, and maybe a trailer towards the end of the year. Some of you might be asking why I haven’t mentioned the recent rumoured leak of the set casting call which supposedly confirms a lot of characters. I’ve left this out because it hasn’t yet been confirmed so this list could be meaningless!

What do you think of the poster? Still excited for the film? Let us know in the comments below.
