As I’m sure you are aware there are a few Marvel films on their way. The next instalment in the MCU is Doctor Strange, followed By Guardians of The Galaxy Vol.2, Spiderman: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther and Captain Marvel.

One of the minor revelations from SDCC 2016 was some new film logos for these films (excluding Spiderman), check them out below.

The Doctor Strange logo is not much different from the one we have previously scene in the first trailer. The Black Panther logo looks perfect, I know this sounds weird but it looks like it is stalking towards you and captures the Wakandan aesthetic from the comics beautifully. The new Captain Marvel logo is pretty standard but has an otherworldly feel to the lettering, hinting at the expected cosmic aspect of the film.

The Guardians of the Galaxy #2 logo has kept the rightly coloured, fun feel of the previous feel and added an extra retro, almost graffiti-like “vol. 2” to the main text. We all know the film is going to be fun and should have an awesome soundtrack and I’m sure it’s not an accident that the film is called Vol. 2 when we are going to be hearing the music from “Awesome Mix Vol.2”.

The interesting, and slightly bizarre logo is for Thor: Ragnarok. We are assuming the film will be set more on Asgard and other realms instead of mainly on Earth. Why then does the logo look like it has been pulled from the title screen of an 80s Arcade game? It looks like it should belong to the Scott Pilgrim sequel instead of a mystical/magical MCU film. I do quite like it however as it has added to some more mystery to a film that very few details have been confirmed about.

What do you think of these new logos? Which is your favourite? Let us know in the comments below.
